Sky Multiroom enables your family to watch different Sky TV channels in other rooms. For a small extra amount each month, you can have one or more extra Sky boxes meaning everyone in your home has the freedom to watch what they want when they want. Sky Playback As an alternative to multiroom, we can distribute the output from your Sky box to all TV points in your home. This means you can watch the selected Sky channel or a recorded program at any TV point, and with the addition of remote eyes, change Sky channel. Freesat was set up so that everyone in the UK can access free digital TV no matter where they live. As Freesat is delivered via a satellite dish, it gives access to free digital channels where digital via an aerial is not possible. Like Freeview, with Freesat there is no subscription and no contract, you just pay for the equipment and installation. Freeview is the easiest way to enjoy digital TV for Free. There are up to 50 digital TV channels with no subscription, no contract, no fuss. There are also many digital radio stations, as well as the interactive features via the red button. To receive Freeview a set top box or TV with built in Digital tuner is required. Receiving Freeview is entirely based on being in a coverage area, and having a good quality aerial providing an adequate signal level at each TV set. Many people in the south east may need to upgrade their aerial, or have other work done on their distribution system to receive Freeview. Existing Freeview users should note that the new 4G mobile internet service starting in 2013 may also have the side effect of interfering with people’s Freeview service. (Satellite TV services are not expected to be affected, and only new 4G services that operate at 800 MHz may cause this problem).
